Lately, I have looked at my blog and felt that it was lacking in the design department. I change the background color to blue. But that was not the look I wanted. I really did not how I wanted my blog to look, only that I want a girly feel. Yesterday, I decide that I will give my blog a makeover. I kept the theme, Adelle, the same. I decided that I wanted a cheetah print background. I have a love for cheetah/leopard print. I think of leopard print and cheetah print as the same print because I can not tell the difference between the two. I found the picture of the lips on the leopard/cheetah print background and fell in love with it. Next, I decided to add a header. I liked the feel of the lips and want to use lips as a focal point. I found the pictures of the lips with the rhinestones but need to add my blog’s title to it. I used Preview on my MacBook to do this.
After, I did all of that I wanted to have social media buttons that are cohesive. Cohesive social media buttons give a blog a more polish look. The problem I faced is I did not know how to create them. After an hour of searching, I found some that I liked. A new problem came. I did not know to create an html code for the buttons. I tried using the code where I found the social media buttons at but the code did not work. Once I calmed down because I started to feel like I was never going to get the buttons to work. I found a solution, I used the html code for my old tumblr button. I just changed the website url and the picture source url. Now I have cohesive social media buttons.
Overall, I am very happy with my blog’s new look. The makeover was long overdue. I often find myself staring at my blog’s new look because I like it so much!
